Voter Turnout

pie_chart Of the 20,321 registered voters in Orangeville, 7,899 (38.9%) showed up to vote and 12,422 (61.1%) did not.


Voting Demographics

bar_chart The turnout for females starts increasing in the late 30s whereas males dont start increase significantly until beyond the 50s age group. The absolute highest votes can from the 55-59 age group for both females and males. The highest turnout came from the 75-59 age group for females and the 80-84 age group for males.



pie_chart 54.7% of the voters were female and 45.3% were male. The registered voter population was 10,628 female and 9,692 male. Therefore 40.6% of eligible females voted and 36.8% of eligible males voted.

Location of Voting

bar_chart The most popular voting location was the Alder Street Rec Centre (23.4%). The least popular voting locations, other than the Roving Ballots was the Lord Dufferin Centre (4.7%). Roving Ballots make up 1.6% of votes and are votes collected by election staff that travel to specific locations for accessibility.
